"Maisy" Mae Claire Maher!!!

We met our little daughter on April 6th, 2006 at 7:15pm! She weighed in at 6 lbs 14 oz and was 18 inches long. Sounds little, but on Thursday, she did NOT FEEL LITTLE to me. :)

I just cannot express how much we are enjoying this tiny little girl. She's incredibly sweet and mellow. So far we've had unusually smooth sailing with her... phew!

Getting Closer!!!

Baby's Debut

We saw our tiny Maher today! The baby (who admittedly quite resembles a turtle) was precious. Active, too! Dancing and swinging around. In this picture, you can see the little legs are crossed and folded (kind of "indian style"). We're on cloud 9 to have gotten a peek at our adorable little one.

This makes the (terribly) frequent puking seem a bit more worthwhile. :)

Saltines, saltines, saltines. The monotony is torture! All day at work, I munch the crackers in hopes of surviving one more day. Morning (noon and night) sickness is upon me... ugh! I had really hoped this would pass me by, but alas... many a mommy before me has been here before.

Coming Soon... MINI MAHER

BEN & I ARE EXPECTING OUR 1ST BABY IN EARLY APRIL!

We're pretty darn excited. A little scared, but looking forward to munching on chubby cheeks and tiny toes. On Ben's birthday, as we were getting ready to go to dinner, I said "Honey, I have one more gift for you" and broke the news to him. We both cried, laughed, trembled and repeated the words... "oh my gosh" a lot. :)
So, here we go... onto another crazy adventure in the ride of life!

Pismo Beach

We spent last weekend in Pismo Beach celebrating the wedding of my dear highschool friend, Katie! The reception was at her father's house which, as you can see, is RIGHT ON THE WATER! It was a great time to catch up with my buddies from RVC... especially now that we're all married!

What a perfect day!

We spent hours sitting on the lawn laughing till our tummy muscles ached. :)

That's actually the sunset we watched! (This photo was taken from our seat on the lawn). Unforgettable.

Home, Sweet Home

Oh yes... this really is our kitchen. We've swept away the insulation since this photo, but it remains a construction site nonetheless. In an effort to forget the mess, we've been shutting the bedroom door and staying put in our (mostly) clean, carpeted and well-lit hideaway. Someday it will end and I'll have a lovely kitchen to show for it. Someday.

The Circle of Life.

It's amazing to me... Just yesterday we were five. Playing with MonChiChi, My Little Pony, dressing like twins and learning to swim.

Now here we are - both in our mid 20's and married! And now this! My *little* cousin Dee is prego! 17 weeks already. Soon we'll be reliving our childhood as we pull out the old toys for her little one. Wow!
